DANVERS — Trailing by a point and going for a two-point conversion with seven seconds left in Friday’s game, No. 3 St. John’s Prep wasn’t going to try and fool No. 4 Springfield Central.

The Eagles lined running back Jordan Toribio up behind center in the shotgun formation and asked him to win the game.
