LAS VEGAS, Nevada – The Lone Peak Knights and Bishop Gorman Gaels game ended in controversy early in the third period when officials cancelled the rest of the game.
Lone Peak was charged with a forfeit after more than three players left the sideline to enter a fight early in the third quarter. Bishop Gorman gets the 35-14 win.
The Lone Peak Knights traveled to Las Vegas for a matchup with the No. 3 Bishop Gorman Gaels on Friday, September 5.
First Quarter
Bishop Gorman won the toss and deferred to Lone Peak. The Knights made little progress on their first possession before punting.
The Gaels’ high-powered offense moved the ball deep into the red zone with little resistance. QB Maika Eugenio tossed a 12-yard scoring pass to Zyren Menor, making it 7-0 with 7:50 left in the period.
