(NewsNation) — The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has issued a warning related to a salmonella outbreak related to home delivery meals.

In a food safety alert issued Friday, the CDC said 16 people across 10 states have been sick, with seven of those individuals hospitalized.

No deaths have been reported. Certain Metabolic Meals home delivery service products have caused salmonella.

"Do not eat affected Metabolic Meals products while the investigation is ongoing. Check your refrigerator and freezer for these products and throw them away or contact the company," the CDC said.
