Frances T. Craner, age 88, of New Castle, DE, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Friday, August 29, 2025.

Born in Wellsburg, WV on February 3, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Gueatano and Mary (Abbadanza) Mazzaufo. Frances made her career as a cafeteria worker at Colonial School District until her retirement.

Frances enjoyed meeting new people and was quite social. In her spare time, she could often be found bowling, skating, and playing cards. Most of all, Frances loved spending time with her family and cherished the memories she made with them.

In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Craner II; and brothers, Ralph Mazzaufo and Thomas Mazzaufo. She is survived by her children, Bonnie Sue Craner, Teresa Liebal (Ea
