UPPER DUBLIN – It might not have shown last week, but it certainly did on Friday.

Central Bucks South’s defense made its share of plays in a loss to Souderton last week but not quite enough to pick up its first win of the season. Playing against an Upper Dublin team equally eager to get its first victory of the fall on Friday it was the Titans defenders, especially the guys up front, making sure their efforts were rewarded this time.

South’s intensity on defense, paired with a couple big plays on offense, led to a 21-0 win over the host Cardinals.

“I just loved our defense, our defense played lights-out,” Titans junior defensive end/running back Gavin Graham said. “I can’t wait to build off of this for the rest of the season.”
