HELENA — The Helena Capital Bruins are still a work in progress, but they took a step forward on Friday night, thanks in part to Brit Linder.
Capital, the defending Class AA state champions, didn’t trail against Belgrade in the nonconference matchup at Vigilante Stadium, but the Bruins also didn’t salt away the 35-20 win until two impact plays from Linder in the fourth quarter.
The first came at the 9:55 mark, with the Bruins nursing a 28-20 lead, and facing a fourth-and-three at the Panthers' 10-yard line.
