COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - The Magnolia Bulldogs beat the College Station Cougars 43-32 Friday night at Cougar Stadium. Here is a rapid reaction:

Why did Magnolia win? Entering the second half Magnolia was down 26-21 and the Bulldogs offense managed to score 22 points that pushed them to victory. Meanwhile, the Magnolia defense held the Cougars offense to only 6 points in the second half.

Standout performance: Bulldog senior, Max Lejsek, got a pick-six in the final minute of to secure the win over College Station.

What’s next? Magnolia takes on its first district opponent at Klein Oak on Sept. 11 at 7p.m. College Station hopes to end its losing streak at Anderson at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 11.
