As the Olympic Games in Los Angeles inch closer, LA28 announced that it will host two community events that offer opportunities for volunteers.

The two events include a food bank and a city cleanup, both slated for October.

LA28 will team up Oct. 4 with the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank to help pack boxes of food and supplies for those dealing with food insecurity in LA County.

The second opportunity will take place Oct. 25 in partnership with Shine LA to beautify LA neighborhoods with activities like trash pick-up and graffiti removal.
