SAN DIMAS — The San Dimas High football team used an efficient ground game and a stout defense to improve to 3-0 with a 34-13 nonleague victory over Colony.

Sophomore running back Keenan Hoyt had 46 yards and a receiving touchdown, junior running back Jacob Gallegos had 49 yards and two touchdowns, and the Saints’ defense produced five sacks and three turnovers.

“This was really a great team win. If you look at our history here, this was a staple San Dimas old-school win,” head coach Mark Holman said. “We ran the ball really well, we played tough defense and we had a couple key passes when we needed it.”
