TEMECULA — After seeing their football team get blanked 30-0 by Elsinore last week, the Temecula Valley faithful seemed a little anxious Friday night when the Golden Bears fell behind Paloma Valley by two touchdowns in the first quarter.

Temecula Valley’s defense regrouped to control the line of scrimmage, the offense – behind a 195-yard rushing effort from sophomore Aiden Nelson – scored 34 unanswered points, and the Golden Bears earned a 48-27 victory to improve to 2-1 this season and snap a six-game losing streak against the Wildcats.
