Senior running back Ethan Rodriguez amassed 264 total yards and four touchdowns as the visiting Rochester Warriors used a punishing ground attack to defeat the King’s Way Christian Knights 48-28 in the season opener for both teams.

The Warriors, behind a massive offensive line which averages 275 pounds, racked up 453 yards rushing for the game. The 6-5, 225-pound Rodriguez, the reigning 1A Evergreen Conference Offensive Player of the Year, rushed for 100 of his 175 yards in the first half as Rochester marched out to a 28-0 halftime lead.
