BRECKSVILLE, Ohio — The Regional Income Tax Agency is reminding taxpayers that the due date for the next estimated municipal income tax payment is Sept. 15. This deadline applies to individuals and businesses in Ohio who are required to make quarterly payments toward their municipal income tax obligations.

Estimated tax payments are due as taxpayers earn taxable income in an Ohio city or village. Rather than paying one large sum when filing an annual return, individuals and businesses make four payments throughout the year. These payments help ensure a consistent flow of revenue to support critical municipal services such as public safety and road maintenance.
