The South Dakota fall high school sports season isn't limited to just football and volleyball teams and athletes .

Only three schools (Watertown, Aberdeen Central and Groton Area) offer soccer and only four (Watertown, Aberdeen Central, Aberdeen Roncalli and Milbank) compete in tennis.

There are, however, 43 northeastern South Dakota schools that offer cross countrry and another six (Aberdeen Roncalli, Groton Area, Milbank, Sioux Valley, Sisseton and Tiospa Zina in Region 1 and Redfield in Region 3) that compete in Class A boys golf in the fall.

For that reason, we've come up with a list of area high school golfers (12) and cross country runners (30) to watch this fall.
