Local 320 Members Say "No" to Employer's Proposal

MINNEAPOLIS, Sept. 5, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Members of Teamsters Local 320 at the University of Minnesota have rejected the last, best, and final offer from their employer by 82 percent. The 1,400 Teamsters work in custodial, maintenance, food service, and other critical infrastructure that keep the university system running.

"Today, Teamsters have sent a message to the University of Minnesota," said Jackson Kerr, a business agent at Local 320 and lead negotiator. "Our goal is not to strike, but to secure an agreement that meets the needs of university Teamsters."
