The heat and humidity are back on Saturday with temperatures on the rise for perhaps the last time before summer ends on September 21st.
Expect low to mid-90s across our area with only a slight chance of showers this afternoon. While we steer clear of the rain, the humidity will be thick, making it feel like over 100. Light winds from the east will become gustier throughout the afternoon.
There’s a low to moderate rip current risk along our coastline.
Sunday will have a slightly higher chance of rain throughout the day as the weather changes by Monday. A Nor’easter set up is coming with gusty winds, cloudy skies, and rainy weather to start the week.
The full “blood” moon and high tides will aid in some possible flooding once the rains begin.
