Prospective lawyers will soon be able to earn their law degree completely online through the University of Detroit Mercy Law School.

Applications are now open for the inaugural class, which will begin in the fall of 2026. The American Bar Association accredits law schools and this spring it approved the program, the first fully online one in Michigan.
