On Tuesday, Sept. 9, Apple is hosting its annual release event, this year dubbed, "Awe Dropping," in which new tech and software are shared with the general public. The iPhone 17 is expected to be unveiled at the event, along with other new gadgets and features.
The iPhone 17 is expected to be similar in size and function to the iPhone 16, Apple news outlet MacRumors reported. The new smartphone is expected to feature Apple's first custom-designed Wi-Fi and Bluetooth chip. Media experts also think the iPhone 17 will get an upgraded 24-megapixel front-facing camera , in comparison to the iPhone 16's 12-megapixel front-facing camera.
