Good Saturday, everyone.

Today is a STORM ALERT WEATHER DAY. Thunderstorms will continue throughout the morning time, but severe weather will begin at 12:00 PM EDT and last until 6:00 PM this evening. Frequent lightning, flash flooding, damaging winds, and hail are the main risks. The tornado risk is very slim, but not zero. These risks are for the entirety of our viewing area - some will be produced from pop-up thunderstorms while others will be coming from a line of storms.

The high will be cooler today at 80 with mostly cloudy skies. After 6:00 PM, there will be a few showers that linger into the night with a few light overnight showers. The low will be 62 with mostly cloudy skies.
