Spain’s Filmax has grabbed international rights to “Every Side of the Bed,” the third installment of the hit musical comedy franchise that first kicked off in 2002.

Packing a production partner punch, “Every Side of the Bed” is a produced by Telecinco Cinema , Weekend Studio, Impala, Lightbox Animation Studios and Todos Los Lados de la Cama AIE, with the participation of Mediaset España, Netflix and Mediterráneo Mediaset España Group.

The original, titled “The Other Side of the Bed” (“El otro lado de la cama”), lit up the Spanish box office to become the highest grossing pic that year.

Director Emilio Martínez Lázaro and writer David Serrano reteamed in 2005 with sequel “ The Two Sides of the Bed ” with some of its original cast, Ernesto Alterio, Maria Esteve and Alberto San Jua
