The Powerball jackpot has soared to $1.8 billion with a cash value of $826.4 million ahead of the Sept. 6 drawing.
The drawing begins at 10:59 p.m. ET, and tickets can be purchased online or in person the same day until 10 p.m. ET.
Winners in Ohio must claim their prize within 180 days.
The Powerball jackpot has ballooned to $1.8 billion ahead of the Saturday, Sept. 6, drawing. It is now the second-largest lottery jackpot in U.S. lottery history. The cash value payout is $826.4 million.
The full Powerball jackpot has yet to be claimed, but Ohio saw multiple winners from the Wednesday, Sept. 3, drawing, including two $100,000 prize-winning tickets sold in Dayton and Toledo, as well as a $1 million ticket sold at a Sheetz in Canfield.
