A pedestrian was seriously hurt in an incident involving an e-bike. Police have issued an urgent appeal for witnesses.
At around 5.48pm on Thursday (September 3), officers were called to reports of a crash in Waterlode, Nantwich.
The collision involved a black Sur-Ron e-bike and a pedestrian. The pedestrian, a 59-year-old man, suffered serious injuries. He remains in hospital.
The rider of the e-bike, a 20-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He was questioned by police.
Sergeant Andrew Dennison said:We are now appealing for witnesses or anybody with dash cam footage.
