Drury Lane Theatre announced Friday its first revival in 20 years of the family-favorite “Annie” as the penultimate show of its 2026-2027 season. The tuner about a plucky orphan and the people whose lives she changes will run Nov. 4, 2026, through Jan. 10, 2027.

The Oakbrook Terrace theater commences its main stage season with “Father of the Bride” (April 8-May 31, 2006), the 1951 comedy about a father preparing for his daughter’s wedding and the misadventures that ensue. Adapted by Caroline Francke from the 1949 novel by Edward Streeter that also inspired Vincent Minnelli’s 1950 comedy starring Spencer Tracy and Elizabeth Taylor and the 1991 remake starring Steve Martin.
