ITHACA, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) -- One person has life-threatening injuries after they were hit by a vehicle in Ithaca on September 5.
Just before 11 p.m., Ithaca Police officers were sent to the area of West Buffalo Street and Taughannock Boulevard for a pedestrian-involved motor vehicle collision. This is right near Hendriks Wood Studio and Pete's Coin Laundry.
The person hit was airlifted to a local trauma center with life-threatening injuries.
The vehicle involved in the accident left the scene after hitting the person in the road.
