TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — The Tampa Bay Buccaneers edged their division rival, the Atlanta Falcons, 23-20 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in the Bucs' season opener.

On Monday, Bucs Head Coach Todd Bowles sat down with News Channel 8’s Aileen Hnatiuk for their exclusive, weekly interview, ‘Bucs with Bowles’.

They discussed the Bucs' 19th overall draft pick, wide receiver Emeka Ebuka's amazing performance in his first-ever regular-season NFL game, Josh Grizzard's first time play-calling as the new offensive coordinator, and the defense's performance against Falcons quarterback Michael Penix Jr.

The win gave Tampa Bay a 1-0 record to start the season and marked the fifth straight year is has prevailed in a season opener. The all-time series between the two teams is now tied at 32-32.
