NEWFIELD, N.Y. (WETM) — A Newfield man was arrested on Monday after troopers said a child under his care died after being exposed to a deadly drug that he had left within the child's reach.
Justin M. Fenton, 31, of Newfield, was arrested on Monday, Sept. 8, following a Tompkins County Grand Jury Indictment on the below-listed charges, as stated in a release from the New York State Police (NYSP). • Manslaughter in the second degree — recklessly causes death (class C felony) • Criminally negligent homicide (class E felony) • Tampering with physical evidence (class E felony)
