CLINTON Co., Iowa (KWQC) - A Clinton man will spend decades behind bars for receiving child pornography and attempting to produce child pornography.

Jensen Salter, 37, was sentenced to 30 years in federal prison on child pornography charges, according to a media release from the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office. After completing his sentence, Salter will be required to serve a 10 year term of supervised release. He was also ordered to pay $8,000 in restitution.

The charges against Salter stem from the following.

The Clinton County Sheriff’s Office investigation started in 2017 when the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children received CyberTips that an account, later determined to be Salter’s, was receiving files containing child sexual abuse material.
