JOHNSON COUNTY, Texas — For the first time, the Johnson County employee whose complaint launched a Texas Rangers investigation into Sheriff Adam King is speaking publicly.
In an exclusive interview with WFAA, Dr. Anna Goodloe, the county’s training coordinator of 12 years, said King began sexually harassing her in 2023 after she lost weight due to a medical condition. She alleges the sheriff made repeated unwanted comments that left her emotionally and physically drained.
“In the beginning, it was in passing, ‘Hello, Dr. Skinny,’” Goodloe told WFAA. “Then it was wanting to ‘do ungodly things’ to me if I continued to lose weight. It’s cringey at best.
