Elizabeth “Beth” Milby Burch of West Point, 70, a devoted mother, wife, sister, daughter, and cherished friend, passed away unexpectedly on September 6, 2025.

Born on November 4, 1954, in Richmond, Virginia, Beth was raised on Salem Farm in Mattaponi, where her roots shaped her love for family, community, and the beauty of the natural world. She graduated from West Point High School and went on to dedicate more than four decades of service as the school secretary, retiring in 2019. Through her work, she touched the lives of countless students, families, and colleagues with her warmth, kindness, and steady presence.
