Pasadena Unified School District’s Saman Bravo-Karimi intends to go into Thursday’s special school board meeting with a message that has echoed through this year. The district needs to act to improve its financial picture, in the wake of the Eaton fire and enrollment declines, and ahead of a murky state and national economic outlook.
It’s not a new message , but on Thursday, it will be the ultimate ask as he submits to the Board a picture of how the last fiscal year, 2024-25, ultimately went.
That picture, known as the 2024-25 Unaudited Actuals Financial Report, will be submitted to the Board for certification on Thursday, and then, ultimately, to L.A County and to the state for oversight.
Unaudited actuals is a fancy way of providing the most up-to-date data for the last fiscal year,
