Amanda Seyfried gets to sing in her upcoming movie The Testament of Ann Lee and she says she had to change her singing style for the role.

The Oscar-nominated actress opened up while appearing at the 2025 Toronto International Film Festival to promote the new movie.

Amanda joined co-star Lewis Pullman on the red carpet at the premiere on Tuesday night (September 9) in Toronto, Canada. They were also accompanied by co-star Shannon Woodward and director Mona Fastvold .

The Testament of Ann Lee is described as “an epic fable inspired by the life of Ann Lee, the founder of the Shakers, a radical religious movement that began in the late 1700s.”

While chatting with TheWrap at the festival, Amanda opened up about the challenges that came with the project.

“Gett
