NORWALK, Conn. — A judge sentenced a former Norwalk city official for a deadly shooting in 2022 , according to the state Division of Criminal Justice Tuesday.
Ellen Wink, 65, of Norwalk, was sentenced to 50 years in prison for the murder of Kurt Lametta, 54, of Norwalk on Jan. 20, 2022.
The city of Norwalk confirmed on Jan. 24, 2022 that Wink was relieved of her duties as the local deputy Republican registrar on the City Registrar of Voters and Elections Administration after holding the position for about a year.
A jury found Wink guilty of murder on June 20, 2025, despite a claim from the defense of "self-defense and extreme emotional disturbance," the DCJ said.
