SHELBYVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Martha Layne Collins football head coach Jerry Lucas believes his team, especially his offense, has plenty of room for improvement.
That's a scary proposition for the Titans' remaining opponents. Collins has won its first three games by an average score of 45-7. That offense has just one senior starter, but 10 players started as sophomores and that experience is paying off this year.
Junior quarterback Kade Goodin is now in his third year as a starter and has already accounted for 17 touchdowns, 12 through the air and 5 more on the ground, just adding to the eye-popping numbers he amassed in the last two seasons.
Goodin started as a freshman and a sophomore. He totaled over 4,000 yards through the air and 2,000 yards on the ground with 70 touchdowns.
