SHREVEPORT, La. (KSLA) - Longtime Booker T. Washington High School coach, Terence Winn, who died Sept. 1 , was honored by the Shreveport City Council Tuesday, Sept. 9.

A number of community members, as well as former and current students, attended Tuesday afternoon’s council meeting to honor Coach Winn’s legacy.

During the meeting, Winn’s family was given a resolution honoring his over 30-year career coaching both football and women’s basketball.
