A man has taken to social media to reveal the bizarre reaction his girlfriend had when he ordered a coffee in front of a child.

The 22-year-old was out with his girlfriend at a café while taking care of his friend’s nine-year-old brother, when the child asked for a coffee.

"I said no. His parents once told me he always asks to try coffee, even though they always say no to the request," the man explained on Reddit.

He then said he ordered chocolate cake instead of coffee for the boy - before ordering an iced coffee for himself.
