JAMESTOWN — Miles Anderson scored two goals on Tuesday.
It helped get the Blue Jays the win, but the night was about more than just those two goals.
Tuesday marked breast cancer awareness night at Rotary Field. The Jamestown High School soccer team honored Lindsey Quichocho, a Jamestown native who has been battling breast cancer aggressively since May.
"Every year the captains get to pick what they want to do and they were kind of hemming and hawing and didn't really know what to pick," Harty said. "I work with Mrs. Quichocho and I thought what a great way to give back. The boys were all up for it. I think this is a great idea and I am very proud of them for picking this."
