WEST BATON ROUGE PARISH, La. (WAFB) - West Baton Rouge Sheriff Jeff Bergeron is addressing growing concerns after four inmate deaths inside the parish jail since March.
The most recent incident happened Sunday, Sep. 7, when Nicholas Henderson was found unresponsive in a lockdown cell. Henderson is also linked to the overdose death of fellow inmate Jeremy Paul, who allegedly obtained synthetic marijuana, commonly known as “mojo”, from him.
The results of Henderson’s autopsy are pending.

“Any loss of life is tragic,” said Bergeron.
