TYLER, Texas (KETK) - Angela Edwards has made it her life's passion to help others at her Wellness cafe. She's no stranger to working for what she wants, as she did just that to create her healthy cafe in downtown Tyler.
"The reason why I started this journey is I was 300 pounds and I was pre-diabetic and I had cancer five times in my twenties," Edwards said.
Edwards said she was 'sick and tired of being sick and tired,' wanting a change in her life. She went through a transformation, starting with education.
"I went to school to get my nutrition license and lost 100 pounds, got my training license and went to culinary school," Edwards said.
