Students from a fashion styling specialization transform traditional Mexican dishes into one-of-a-kind garments

Celebrating this patriotic month in a unique way, where the great value of Mexican gastronomy inspired the creation of a new design concept, this was the challenge for 15 students in a fashion styling specialization. Convened by Aderezo, the gastronomy website of the Organización Editorial Mexicana (OEM), they had to create a unique look to pay tribute to our traditions.

This is the “Moda con Sabor a México” (Fashion with a Taste of Mexico) project where the main challenge was to reinterpret the colors, textures, and even the ingredients of our cuisine and transfer them to the fabrics and silhouettes that would shape garments woven with the flavor
