A father-of-three almost crashed into members of the public on an e-scooter - just days after being banned from the road for drug-driving.
Lee Shirvell, from Folkestone, was stopped by police and tested positive for cocaine.
The 46-year-old was spared a prison sentence - but magistrates have now banned him from driving for five years.
He had purchased the e-scooter for his son after he was kicked out of the family home by his wife over his drug use - and missed the boy’s birthday.
Shirvell, of Biggins Wood Road, admitted drug-driving, driving while disqualified and driving without insurance when he appeared at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on September 3.
