SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - A child has been taken to the hospital after a shooting on South Bend’s northwest side late Tuesday night.
Officers were called just before 10:45 p.m. to the 2000 block of Johnson Street on reports of shots fired.
While they were on the way, police say they learned that a young child was being taken to the hospital.
According to police, the child’s injuries appear to be non-life-threatening.
No arrests have been announced at this time.
