SALT LAKE CITY — Forget your typical beer tents and bratwursts, Brighton Resort is flipping the script this fall with its brand-new “It’s Not Oktoberfest” celebration.

Instead of steins and sauerkraut, this festival is all about foodie showdowns, live music, and community fun, with a cause. Each event benefits the Utah Food Bank, making it not just tasty, but impactful.

Guests can look forward to five weekends of head-to-head culinary competitions featuring some of Utah’s best chefs and restaurants:

Sept. 13–14: Fried Chicken Sandwich Invitational

Sept. 20–21: The Banh Mi Brawl

Sept. 27–28: Best Pie in Utah Challenge

Oct. 4–5: Mac & Cheese Meltdown

Oct. 11–12: Utah Ski Resort Chili Cook-Off (with resorts from across the state battling for bragging rights!)
