SHREVEPORT, La. — Shreveport police are investigating a two-vehicle crash that killed one person and injured several others today at the intersection of Bobtail Drive and West 70th Street.

An adult female was pronounced dead at the scene. Several other people suffered minor to moderate injuries and were taken to local hospitals for treatment.

Emergency crews responded quickly, and the intersection was temporarily closed to allow investigators to process the scene.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation. Authorities said they will not release further details until the victim's family has been notified.
