Make no bones about it, the “Voter ID” referendum is not really just about that. If it were, it would be only about showing an ID to vote. But it’s not because it loads up the law with voter restrictions , apparently to suppress votes.

And guess who was proposing it? Firebrand Republican state Rep. Laurel Libby who seems to think it’s OK to dox a teenager . This is, I believe, a partisan effort to exclude people who likely don’t support Libby’s brand of telling others what to do.
