Anthony Volpe seems to be having a great time off the field, attending events with his date. The slugger was recently seen at the Carlos Rondon Foundation charity event with Elle Jowett, whom many speculate to be his girlfriend. Yankees fans trolled the slugger during this time since his on-field performance continues to dip.

Volpe’s performance never got any better while the Yankees were facing the Detroit Tigers. He made a defensive blunder by dropping a catch, but his biggest blunder that got fans fuming was his play at the plate.

The Yankees were tied 2-2 with runners in scoring position. Anthony Volpe stepped up to the plate and popped up a bunt that went straight to Tigers infielder Kolt Keith. It was one of the worst bunts, and Yankees fans erupted with boos.
