Police and paramedics were called to a Stoke-on-Trent street last night. Pictures from the scene show the emergency services on a section of High Street, in Tunstall .

The incident happened near the Bank Street junction. The images were taken at around 11pm last night.

One StokeonTrentLive reader said: "The road is blocked outside Tunstall Lidl. Police and ambulance are here."

StokeonTrentLive has approached Staffordshire Police and West Midlands Ambulance Service for statements following last night's incident. Any witnesses can call the police on 101.
