Week 3 of the football season saw Kingman Academy bounce back from two straight losses with its first win. The Tigers defeated San Pasqual 52-34 and now look to continue that momentum into this week’s road matchup with Bourgade Catholic. The Golden Eagles are coming off a loss to Scottsdale Christian and are 2-1 on the season.
Kingman and Lee Williams faced off for the Superintendents trophy, which Lee Williams won handily 53-8. The Volunteers rushed for a total of 338 yards and had 83 receiving from seven completions by quarterback Morgan Quinn. Lee Williams travels to Lake Havasu High School to take on a Knights squad who are 1-1 on the season. The Knights fell to Mohave in the Golden Shovel 27-21.
