Cap property taxes at 5% of a homeowner’s income: Letter to the Editor

There are many opinions about fixing our property tax problems. The only thing I know is that no property owner, especially property owners on fixed income, should have to pay 12% of their income for property taxes.

Someone needs to propose a bill capping how much of a person’s income can be used for property taxes. I propose that around 5% of our income should be taken for property taxes.
