Adilson Malanda has detailed his road to becoming a Middlesbrough player this summer, and the reasons behind his decision to sign for the club.
The highly-rated centre-back joined Boro in a deal that is a record fee received for an MLS club for a defender. To win the Frenchman’s signature ahead of some big clubs across Europe including PSV, Boro agreed to loan the 23-year-old back to Charlotte FC for the remainder of the MLS season.
