A walker suffered a 'serious injury' following a horror fall at a Scottish Outlander filming location. ‌

The person plummeted at the Devil's Pulpit, near Killearn , west Stirlingshire on Tuesday morning, prompting an urgent rescue operation. ‌

Lomond Mountain Rescue Team (Lomond MRT) rushed to the scene shortly after 11.45am on Tuesday, September 9, after the casualty sustained a "significant lower leg injury" at the location known as 'Zaines Ladder' – a treacherous series of Victorian steps descending into Finnich Glen, where the Devil's Pulpit sits. ‌

A Lomond MRT spokesperson said: "The casualty was assessed and treated at the scene before being transferred by stretcher to the waiting ambulance.
