Too many are abandoned, left to wonder why their humans betrayed their trust. One of them was a little puppy later named La-Z-Boy Gatson, who sat waiting for owners who would never return.

A Lonely Watch On Gatson Road

A frail 4-month-old puppy was discovered sitting in an old recliner along Gatson Road in Lincoln County, Mississippi.

Animal Control Officer Sharon Norton responded to the call and was heartbroken to see the scene. The young pup sat in the chair beside a discarded TV , as if he’d been left behind with the furniture.

He was weak and clearly hadn’t eaten for days. And yet, his eye
